In 2002, a group of 12 cars drove from Malaysia to Shanghai in China going through Thailand and Laos in 36 days. For a number of people, it was their first time on a 4X4 trip that covers some 13,800 km of driving....

A group of 12 cars drove from Malaysia to Xian, China via Kunming, Jiuzhaigao, Chengdu, Chongqing in 38 days crossing Thailand and Laos. A total of 25 participants took part in this 13,000 km trip.

10 cars in a convoy drove from Malaysia to China's Hakka country and Wuyi Shan in Fujian Province in a 34 days adventure in year 2006. Pictures taken by Phan Kim Loan and Lai Chin Fook along the way are now uploaded.....

2008 Mekong Adventure was done in Nov-Dec covering Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia by 10 cars, again, with Douglas at the lead...

This is where you can access the RPMC's X-Continental Website to read about their recent trip .. A 65 day drive ‘The X-Continent Expedition 2009’ in their own 4 x 4 vehicle crossing Europe, Russia and back via Central Asia countries and China totalling some 22,000km. The Expedition, was organized by The Royal Perak Motor Club (RPMC) with the mission ‘A Mission of Goodwill and Expression of Peace and Harmony and a desire to understand the people their History and Legends of our part of the World. This once-in-a-lifetime historical event over started on April 27 to end on June 29, 2009.
